Zonergy Signs Comprehensive Cooperation Agreements, Joining Hands with the Sodium-Ion Battery Ecosystem to Promote Coordinated Industrial Development

From September 21 to 22, the 2026 Sodium-Ion Battery Industry Chain and Standards Development Forum was held in Zigong, Sichuan Province, China. On the morning of the 22nd, two rounds of centralized signing ceremonies were held, focusing on industrial supply-demand matching and application scenario integration. These events brought together leading enterprises across the upstream and downstream sodium-ion battery industry chain, as well as representatives from application sectors. Supply-demand alignment was hence facilitated to further advance industrial synergy and real-world deployment.

As an enterprise actively advancing R&D, product innovation, and industrialization in the sodium-ion battery sector, Zonergy participated in the centralized signing ceremony. The company signed a package of cooperation agreements with upstream and downstream partners covering cathode materials, hard carbon anode materials, cell collaboration, and diverse application scenarios. It thereby deepened industrial coordination and accelerated the large-scale adoption of sodium-ion batteries.

During the first round of signings, Xu Hongchang, President of Zonergy Corporation, represented the company in signing strategic supply agreements for sodium-ion cathode materials with industry-leading enterprises including Jana Energy, EVE Energy, Chilwee Energy, Highstar Sodium, and Veken Battery. Additionally, procurement agreements for hard carbon anode materials were signed with industry chain partners such as Rongna New Energy and MegaRely. By strengthening cooperation with industry chain partners in cathode and anode materials, the company will further enhance upstream-downstream supply-demand alignment, providing robust support for the continuous R&D and large-scale industrial application of its sodium-ion battery products.

Subsequently, Fan Yan, Executive Vice President of Zonergy, represented the company in signing sodium-ion cell cooperation agreements with select end-user enterprises, further propelling Zonergy’s sodium-ion cells from the stages of R&D and project validation toward market commercialization, batch delivery, and large-scale application.
