<\/p>\nRecently, Zonergy proudly marked the successful inauguration and commencement of the UNICEF Offices Solarization Project across Pakistan, with the opening ceremony held at the UNICEF Karachi Office.\u00a0The project aims to promote green and low-carbon operations in offices across Pakistan by promoting clean and sustainable energy solutions. Zhang Hongjiang, Marketing General Manager of Zonergy’s South Asia Region, attended the event on behalf of the company and delivered a speech.<\/p>\n

Zonergy is one of the earliest Chinese companies to enter the Pakistan’s renewable energy market and has continued to cultivate it. Against the backdrop of the Belt and Road Initiative and the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the company built and operated the first phase of the 9\u00d7100MW photovoltaic power station project in Punjab Province. Consisting of 3\u00d7100MW units, the project was successfully connected to the grid in 2016. With\u00a0an annual power generation capacity over 500 million kWh,<\/strong>\u00a0it can stably provide electricity for approximately 200,000 households<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Zonergy has long focused on residential and commercial energy storage, off-grid power supply systems and distributed photovoltaic and energy storage solutions in Pakistan, becoming one of the country’s leading renewable energy brands. In recent years, the company has further strengthened its investment in public welfare and has actively joined hands with local government agencies, schools and international NGOs. It has thereby provided photovoltaic and energy storage system support for schools in remote areas, refugee camps and energy-deficient groups. By doing so, it continuously promoted energy equity and accessibility, demonstrating a corporate image that combines commercial strength and social responsibility. Currently, Zonergy has cooperated with multiple UN agencies worldwide, including UNHCR, UNOPS, UNDP, and UNICEF<\/strong>,\u00a0to promote the implementation of projects. In fact, it has become one of the important partners of the UN system in the development of green energy.<\/p>\n During the exchange session at the launch ceremony, Zonergy and the project’s relevant personnel had in-depth discussions on implementation details and future cooperation directions. Zonergy stated that it will continue to provide efficient, stable, and sustainable green energy solutions for UNICEF offices in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, and Peshawar. Also, it promised to leverage advanced photovoltaic and energy storage technologies to help upgrade local energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n In addition, the two sides discussed the School Kits project and other potential areas of cooperation, further reaffirming their shared vision in education support, community development and sustainable development. In the future, Zonergy will continue to deepen its presence in the Pakistani market, actively promote the green energy transition, and contribute to building a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable energy system.
