On May 16, the 2025 China Energy Storage Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation Development Conference and SCEA Membership Congress, jointly organized under the guidance of the Sichuan Provincial Energy Bureau and co-hosted by the Sichuan Clean Energy Alliance (SCEA), grandly opened in Chengdu. Deng Chao, Director of the Sichuan Provincial Energy Bureau, attended the event and delivered a speech. This conference is one of the key events of the 3rd China International Energy Storage Industry Expo. Centered on “Collaborative Innovation in the Energy Storage Industry Chain,” it brought together representatives from government agencies, state-owned energy companies, research institutions, and upstream and downstream industry chain companies to discuss new technologies, models, trends, and development directions in the energy storage sector. The conference aimed to promote the digital, intelligent, and green transformation of the energy storage industry, foster technical exchanges and cooperation, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the energy sector.

During the keynote speech session, Wang Qinghua, under the title “Thriving with Sodium, Creating the Future with ‘Core'”, systematically introduced Zonergy’s technological innovations, product development, and commercial application cases in the field of sodium-ion batteries. He noted that as the global energy transition accelerates, sodium-ion batteries are becoming a key direction for technological innovation in energy storage, thanks to their advantages such as high safety, excellent low-temperature performance, superior rate capability, abundant raw material reserves, lower material costs, and environmental friendliness.

During the conference, representatives from Zonergy engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees on topics such as energy storage policies, market opportunities, and technical challenges. Currently, Sichuan has emerged as a major hub for the development of the new energy industry in China, with its comprehensive industrial strength ranking among the top in the country. As one of the representative “Sichuan enterprises” in the energy storage sector, Zonergy will continue to leverage its technological strengths, actively participate in clean energy projects across the province, and contribute to accelerating the construction of a new energy industry system with Sichuan’s unique characteristics and advantages, promoting the coordinated development of energy exploitation, ecological governance, and livelihood improvements.
